Full details are now out for this year's International Training Camp in November.  Flyers and posters will be up in the club as from tomorrow and our Training Camp page on the website has now been fully updated with dates times and costs.

We just wanted to drop you a short email to let you know that the clubs website has just been fully updated and now has a slightly new look and feel to it.  Although you can still find all our achived news there, we also wanted to remind you that all current news is now being added to the club's Facebook Page, which you can find by clicking on the Facebook link on the website.

Just to let you all know, our Wednesday evening JudoFit Classes have now been cancelled.  The numbers had dropped off recently and the school is keen to hire the hall to other users.

Dear Club members

Grading news

Well done to all club members that graded on Friday.  The great news is that everyone passed so make sure you bring your licences and your £12 Grading fee for the BJA when you next come to the club and we can send them off.  We will be Grading the remainder of our junior members on Monday 29 January.

Ippon Invitation Tournament - 24 March 2018

Dear Club Members

We have been invited to attend the Ippon Invitation Tournament on 24 March and the great thing about the event is that its being held at Greenacre Academy.

The event is for Oragne Belts and below who are new to or relatively inexperienced in judo competions and who are between the ages of 5 and 15.  Full details and entry forms can be found at the club.  Please try to support this event if you can and get your entries in as soon as possible.

We hope you all had a lovely Christmas and are looking forward to a very happy New Year.  We wanted to just drop you a quick note to remind you that the club re-opens with its normal opening times as from Friday 5th January and Monday 8th January 2018.

It would be great to see as many of you as possible on our re-opening nights to get 2018 off to a great start.

Hi

We have just been informed that the school has booked a last minute event in the hall on Monday 4 December. Although it is the first time they have done this to us this year, it is still very unfortunate and means that the club is unable to open this Monday.  We are very sorry about this but look foreward to seeing you on Friday or the following Monday.

Walderslade Judo Club

We have now published full details for our party night for the International Training Weekend.  We will be having a disco with a 'beach' theme party as well.  Entry is free to all club members but if you would like to join us along with our French and Dutch friends in a 'fish and chip' supper, you can book this at Reception. The cost is £5.50 per person.  This has to be booked by 13 November.

18 - 19 November 2017 - Sports Hall, Greenacre Academy, Walderslade

Dont forget our weekend Training Camp with double Olympian, Baku Grand Slam winner and Commonwealth Champion, Colin Oates is fast approaching.  There are still some places available so if you would like to attend this great value weekend and train with a double Olympian, then make sure you email the club or get your entry in at the club this week.

Colin will be with us on Saturday and on Sunday morning and the cost is just £12.
